This winter, the Masan & Masan design has been reinterpreted in a giant triangle version. The artisanal weave is highlighted by tone-on-tone micro glass beads that illuminate and enhance the graphic lines of the basketry effects.

The story behind
Water hyacinth grows wild in the estuaries of Thailand. It is picked and then dried in the sun, before its stems are woven into wicker objects. For Masan et Masan (the woven horse), illustrator Terawat Teankaprasith observed these ancestral processes, then drew these two heads facing one another, like figurines in a children's game. In the center of this triangle adaptation, the two horses almost form a ring, drawing the eye into their graphic and hypnotic circle.
