The name of this collection is a reference to the metal instrument used in music to set the pitch, the diapason, and thus echoes the tinkling of the hammer on aluminum and the metallic, architectural shape of the sections.

The story behind
Designed by Studio Hermès in the spirit of its modernist heritage, Diapason d’Hermès collection combines materials contrast and formal design strength as an encounter between bridle leather, heritage leather with a warm, natural look and the cooler tones of cold-stamped aluminium, whose vibrations create a play of reflections and light. Craftsmanship is evident in the attention to detail and finishes: the hammered metal and saddle-stitching on the armchair and leather sheathing on the table.
