The story behind
Based on the Les Chevaux Dechaines scarf design
Two prancing horses face one another. At first glance, their symmetrical silhouettes appear to be simply drawn in pencil. But Octave Marsal's precise line is actually composed of a series of buckles, chains, stirrups and straps inspired by the Émile Hermès collection of illustrated album. It's almost as if they've flown straight from the paper onto the silk of a scarf, only to remain imprinted there.
