From object to space
In the aisles, a traveller wanders. His peregrination gives rise to lines, perspectives and shapes of plaster and beechwood, simple parallelepipeds adorned with objects, which he aligns, measures, and raises up to cardinal points, like the primary elements of a desire to inhabit the space.
Material is also graphic
The association of architectural materials in the scenography echoes the work of materials in the creation of these new objects, combining textures, contrasts, colors, and patterns.
Stadium d'Hermès
Imagined by the British design duo Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, the Stadium d'Hermès table with its figure-of-eight shape evokes the curve of a horse's back or the oval of a racetrack. Made entirely in marquetry of marble, it is nevertheless characterised by lightness.
Discover Palladion d'Hermès
The new line of home objects associates hammered palladium-finish metal with leather, horsehair, or wood. The silversmith's hammer gives the metal a vibrant, shimmering quality that captures the light and offers unique reflections. Like contemporary talismans, the centerpiece, jug, and vases are formed of architectural lines and materials elevated by the artisan's gesture.
Figures of style
Year after year, Hermès has sought to showcase virtuoso textile know-how, a playground for experimentation and unprecedented creations. Hand-woven in Nepal, always in cashmere and sometimes with a linen weft, resist-dyed, edged, then sewn together using an embroidery stitch, these new throws are a hymn to artisanal excellence and absolute softness.
