The story behind

Jan Bajtlik invites us to discover the South of France of his childhood where the local landscape evokes a tropical vibe. Inspired by the atmosphere of this region, the artist renders the lush vegetation in broad brushstrokes. Umbrella pines, cactuses and leaves intermingle, giving us a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea and the beach in the background. The summer is hot, the sun is shining, and with "Le Chant des Cigales" you can almost hear the cicadas singing!
