The story behind
The "Show Jumping" design adorns the Casaque box with a jump in perspective. The flat tints of color reinforce the realism of this geometric composition, which is elevated by leather marquetry. This technique demands great precision when preparing the leather pieces to ensure that they slot together to a level of tenths of a millimeter when assembled, to create a single surface despite the different grains of each leather.
