The story behind
On this scarf, ancient Greece meets the Paris of the artistic and technical avant-garde. Elias Kafouros depicts twin horse heads in a volute directly inspired by the intricate structure of the Eiffel Tower. Yet, it is Hephaestus, the Greek god of blacksmiths and metallurgy, whom the artist envisions as the creator of these two iron steeds. A spirited journey through the poetic corridors of time and European culture.
