The story behind
Two worlds meet on this unique pillow: jacquard and hand embroidery on cashmere. The delicacy and texture of the round beads sewn with cotton threads contrast with the softness of the cashmere. Italian graphic artist Nicolas Aguzzi took the grid from the classic Avalon blanket and brought it to life with a variety of stripes, enhanced with thread and bead embroidery. The hand embroidery in bright, contrasting colors gives the throw its signature "H" and "neon" effect. The interplay of colors and materials reveals the sophistication and architectural dimension of the Avalon blanket.
