  • Lanterne

Aluminium, glass and leather combine to reinterpret lighting with a Fresnel lens, an instrument invented in 1822 to refract the light emitted by lighthouse beacons. The design of this lamp draws not only on maritime history but also that of horse-drawn carriages with their swaying lanterns on the front and back.
  • Pantographe

The pantograph drawing instrument is an architect’s tool that serves to reduce or increase the size of a figure. This lamp, with an articulated shaft and arm covered with leather and metal, imitates the design of a riding crop. The base doubles as a change tray. The wires are concealed as are the leather-sheathed cables.
