hermès expands its hong kong lee gardens store in a celebration of the city’s surrounding nature
In the heart of Causeway Bay, set over three spacious floors reflecting the spirit of the city, where the sea, mountains and jungle converge. Bordered by an external stone ruffle and internal metallic panels façades inspired from the masonry wall trees, accompanied by three astonishing windows that features a striking triptych interpretation of horses in motion, as In the Spirit of the Faubourg by Japanese artist Ryu Mitarai.
Kindle by Grecques lights, the ground floor’s emblematic Faubourg mosaic evoking the island’s sand and waves, guests are guided through the store to discover the sixteen métiers while appreciating the store’s design inspired from the surrounding natural landscape, with each floor commemorating a unique facet of the region envisioned by the Parisian architecture agency RDAI.
Locally sourced materials, used throughout the entire space, are enhanced by innovative design treatments and techniques. Complemented by a selection of etchings, illustrations, and canvases from the Émile Hermès collection and the Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photographs.
Reaffirming its presence in Hong Kong, Hermès invites its loyal customers and new visitors to discover the wonder of its creations in an environment where craftsmanship and nature flourish in harmony.
