The story behind
Our hats are made from Toquilla straw. This material comes exclusively from palm trees on the Ecuadorian coast, the cradle of artisanal weaving. This exceptional manual know-how has been passed through generations. There are a number of different techniques and each one is named after its city of origin: Cuenca, Brisa and Montecristi stand out especially for the finesse and complexity of weaving. The hats are then shaped by our hatters: from boaters to sunhats, the possibilities are endless. Each season our creations are reinvented. They are adorned with new braids and trimmings for a summery touch.
