The story behind
Once there was a cat who was looking for a cozy place to sleep, and he found himself folded into his mistress's scarf box. One day, he awoke to find that he had become quite flat and square. Never one to complain, he made the best of his bad luck: here at last was a chance to show off to his friend the flying squirrel, whose ability to stretch out his paws, flatten his fur into a square and glide through the air had always been something the cat was envious of. Easy to say, it stopped the squirrel in his tracks. Now there's a fable that La Fontaine never imagined, and that Florence Manlik has invented!
