The story behind
Christiane Vauzelles, an artist who first worked with Robert Dumas in 1958, created the "Les Leopards" design for a beach towel in 1967. These young leopards with their joyful expressions form a light, delicate and imaginative design that evokes a Roman mosaic through its effective simplicity of line.
