The story behind
Plumes of smoke billow from its two striped funnels, as a trail of lacy froth marks its wake. The steamboat designed by Sophie Koechlin gently sails up the Mississippi, following a faithfully reproduced course from Louisiana to Minnesota, dotted with scenes imagined for this bandana. Buoyant and carved entirely from wood, the vessel glides along the water, carried by the currents.
