The story behind

The "Habits de cour" design by Henri d'Origny, released for the first time in 1997, has been reinvented and produced in two colors. The design was inspired by a collection of images from the Fabrique de François Desfeuilles in Nancy, representing xylography colored with a stencil, a technique dating back to 1829. On each face card, the author has reinterpreted the illustrated characters.
