In Dubai, petit h rolls out a carpet of treasures crafted in its re-creation and reinvention workshop

From 5 to 22 October, petit h returns to Dubai and reveals its carpet woven from palm leaves. In this space full of movement, its new creations initiate a playful and mischievous dialogue between the reuse and reinterpretation of materials.

Petit h creations have their feet on the ground and their head in the clouds. From terracotta and leather to silk, chic allure is reaching new heights.

Even if creations within the Petit h workshop have been designed down to the most minute detail, they still run against the grain. Excess is embraced as imagination runs wild.

The hundred and one lives of the saddle tree

Borrowed from the Conservatoire des Créations Hermès, 1960s saddle trees have landed in the petit h workshop. The ideas start flowing and petit h re-creations come to life in forms such as a sledge, a chair, a guitar, a bench, a basket or vase. The tree, the heart of the saddle, inspires surprising links between artists and craftsmen and unprecedented alliances between know-how and natural materials. Its organic curves produce objects as useful as they are hybrid. Saddle up!
