The story behind
Les Coupes, Françoise de la Perrière
Beneath the graphic and almost abstract lines of this scarf lie the coupes Françoise de la Perrière drew in 1970. Although the first motor vehicles replaced horses at the end of the 19th century, these carriages, post chariots, and Orsay cars with their square or round bodies continue to inspire the Maison's creations. The contrasting thick and thin lines on this revisited composition evoke an eternal childhood game.
