The story behind

Cassandre was a French painter, graphic designer and theatrical set designer, he created numerous advertising posters in the 1930s. His Art Deco, pared-down approach became instantly recognizable; a stylized, almost abstract graphic signature, with large flat tints of color and a remarkable sense of composition. This design lends multiple meanings to the word "perspective", in the dynamic sense of taking flight into space and in the symbolic sense of projecting into the future.
