The story behind

Kongo is part of a collective of graffiti artists. From Brazil to Hong Kong he travels the world to paint, make and share art. Co-founder of the International Graffiti Festival, he invites artists from the four corners of the globe to tag the walls of Bagnolet, a suburb of Paris, France. These joint projects reveal the force and the diversity of urban cultures. From the New York subway to the walls of Paris, over the decades street art has earned credibility as a form. Here Kongo switches up concrete for silk. He approaches the scarf like a wall. The dramatic result is skillfully rendered and full of life: the typography pops out in a graphic explosion, reaching a boiling point in polychrome – Hermès, like the world, is in perpetual motion!
