The story behind

Yan Kersalé drew inspiration from the nautical world in creating the Lanterne d’Hermès. It is reminiscent of lighthouses and navigation lighting. He also dove deep into Hermès’ past, exploring the era of horse-drawn carriages, which were also equipped with lanterns in both the front and back.
The French visual artist has thus created for Hermès a lighting tool that exudes poetry and fantasy.
This portable lantern is an invitation to travel, and is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. It illuminates the traveller’s way, shedding light on his path from four light cylinders.
