Belts are sized in centimetres.
To determine your Hermès belt size, we recommend measuring your favourite belt from the buckle to the hole you use most (for example, if you measure 85cm from these 2 points your Hermès size is 85. Noting that 85cm is from the buckle hole to the middle hole on the Hermès belt strap, not the total length of the belt strap). Or, determine where you wear your belt most comfortably and measure at this point.
We invite you to visit the Hermès store nearest you so that one of our sales consultants may examine the item. This will allow us to give you an estimate and time frame for the repair. Most items will need to be sent to Paris for expert restoration and will have an approximate lead time of 3 to 6 months.

We recommend that you avoid washing your scarves and ties and instead entrust them to your dry cleaner who will clean them professionally and pay careful attention to their hand-rolled edges. Also remember that printed silk may be damaged by rain.
You are able to clean your silver jewellery yourself provided that you use a specialized silver cleaning product, please follow the product directions.
Oxidation of silver jewellery is a natural process and is unavoidable. To slow down the oxidation of your silver jewellery we recommend that you avoid contact with perfume, household cleaning products and bath, pool and sea water.

Your Hermès watch has a 2 year worldwide warranty (Hermès Warranty) from the day of purchase. At the time of purchase the International Guarantee booklet will be filled in, dated and signed by the retailer.
The benefits given to you by our Hermès Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under your country’s consumer law in relation to the Hermès watch to which the warranty relates. Our Hermès Warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify any statutory rights or remedies.
During the applicable Hermès Warranty period of 2 years, Hermès will make good any production fault by repairing or replacing the affected watch or part thereof, provided that notice of any claimed defect has been given to Hermès within the 2 year warranty period.
Any claim made under our Hermès Warranty must be addressed to your country’s agent for La Montre Hermès, or to the La Montre Hermès representative at the address provided in the International Guarantee booklet, together with the Hermès Warranty. We recommend that you send your Hermès watch, packed with care, by registered post or alternately bring it to an Hermès store.
Any transportation or shipping cost incurred by you in making a claim under our Hermès Warranty will be borne solely by you.
This Hermès Warranty may not be transferred to any subsequent owners of your Hermès Watch.
Damage resulting from repair services provided anywhere other than at an official or recognized Hermès repair centre is not covered and shall void the Hermès Warranty. The Hermès Warranty does not cover any damage resulting from an accident, negligence or improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse.
Your Hermès Warranty does not cover the leather strap and/or crystals, if any, of your Hermès watch.
Leather is a living material that evolves, changes colour, softens and will acquire a patina over time. It should be protected from humidity and prolonged exposure to light or extreme heat. There are no global care products for Hermès leather. The best way to maintain your bag is to regularly return it to our workshops in Paris to be cleaned and, if needed, restitched and repolished.
Saddle leather is a living material that evolves, changes colour, softens, and will acquire a patina over time. It should be protected and maintained with care. Please do not hesitate to visit the dedicated page for more information or to contact our experts for any assistance.
The only way to guarantee the authenticity of an Hermès product is by making your purchase through our official website Hermes.com, at an Hermès store or through an authorised distributor (authorised watch dealer, etc.). An original invoice is created at the time of purchase for both online and in-store purchases. We cannot guarantee nor verify the authenticity of an item purchased outside of an official Hermès point of sale.
