The story behind
This twillon comes from the Le tour du Monde en 63 cases scarf.
Discover or rediscover the story behind the original scarf:
Taking its theme from Jules Verne’s Around the World in 80 Days, this interpretation of the game of goose by Pierre Marie transports us to the four corners of the earth. From Venice to the Caribbean, from Iceland to China, from Scotland to the Seychelles, the dice decide the route… that leads to 24 faubourg Saint-Honoré, in Paris, the home of Hermès. The way is peppered with pitfalls and surprises – here the Loch Ness monster, there a giant tortoise, further on a trip on a flying carpet – but also with references to the history of Hermès. Several personalities from the house welcome us as we skip from square to square. An invitation to go on a fantastical journey.
